The e-Infrastructure Reflection Group Support Programme 4 (e-IRGSP4) provided support for the e-Infrastructure Reflection Group (e-IRG) and hereby supported the collaboration of national and pan-European e-Infrastructure initiatives and stakeholders. The e-IRG cooperates increasingly closer with the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI), whose work it largely complements through its lateral domain.

The e-IRGSP4 project built on the experiences of previous e-IRG support programmes. Its lightweight design focused on the core requirements of the e-IRG and the demands of the European Commission. It provided the secretariat of the e-IRG community, supported the e-IRG Chair and Executive Board, organised workshops, which facilitate the coordination and communication between e-Infrastructure initiatives and stakeholders.
